En route for Filicudi
Day 5
On Wednesday morning we head for Filicudi, the penultimate island in the Aeolian archipelago, located along with the nearby Alicudi far west of the other islands.
While visiting by boat the rest of the islands is more or less a routine for all the charters that leave from Milazzo or from the Sicilian coast, arriving at Filicudi is almost exclusive prerogative of those who embark from Lipari.
The island is beautiful because it is still authentic, with few buildings and a vegetation dominated by the Mediterranean vegetation, the prickly pear and the bougainvillea with purple flowers.
After a 2 hour navigation we get to Capo Graziano. There we can enjoy a swim in a sea that is surrounded by a splendid backdrop and luminous colors. Then, in the late afternoon, we sail towards Pecorini a Mare, the only one fishing village on the island.
At sunset we can go to Saloon, the famous Zio Nino club, and meeting point for all the crews, to enjoy an aperitif and admire the view of the sunset. Once the sun sets, you will experience the pervasive sensation of being immersed in the middle of the Mediterranean, taking in its colors and its aromas.
