Discovering Panarea
Day 2
On Sunday morning, we will wake up at about 7:00. After a breakfast based on a typical coffee granita with whipped cream or a delicius sweet roll, we set sail towards the white Beach of Pomice that will surprise you.
We will stay at the Pomice for lunch, until mid-afternoon, when we will sail towards Panarea, the most exclusive holiday destination of the Aeolian Islands.
After sailing for about 10 miles, and after you have already begun to absorb the atmosphere of this holiday at sea, we will stop at Cala Zimmari, near the wonderful Promontory of Punta Milazzese.
Here you can have your first swim of the holiday and enjoy the sea of the Aeolian Islands, with its clear water of a characteristic cobalt blue color, devoting yourself to activities such as swimming and snorkeling and forgetting all the stresses of daily life.
Once we have moored you can stay on board if you wish, but we strongly advise that you go ashore and visit the quaint village of Panarea and enjoy its famous nightlife, after an aperitif at the Lounge Bar Raya, with its splendid sea view or a dinner at Pina’s or Francesco’s .
Panarea is the favorite destination of most of the crews, with its distinctively lively and chic atmosphere: the panorama features brilliantly colored rose bushes and bougainvilleas that stand out dramatically against the volcanic landscape. The charm of this contrast makes Panarea, with all its contradictions and peculiarities, the island that is the most popular and beloved of all the seven islands in the Aeolian archipelago.
